È provvisto di uncini e ventose che consentono l'adesione del mwfgparassita agli organi interni dell'mwfworganismo ospite.

Potrebbe essere considerato la testa dell'animale, ma questo è sbagliato in quanto nei Platelminti Cestodi la cefalizzazione è del tutto assente.
